WOW! Yesterday was a HUGE day. I spent the morning baking up a storm in my little kitchen (pictured above) and then when little "J" got home from school we took a road trip from Hobart
to Campbelltown (Tasmania) and back! .. this kind of thing is very unusual for me as I get terrible car sickness and try not to travel too far from home if I can help it (out of the 5 regions I have cancer, one is my ear canal which puts my balance all up the putt, which makes me very prone to motion sickness).
I thought I would take some snaps along the way for my international visitors on my blog to see what a lovely state I live in. Yesterday was very overcast and rainy and all the pics were taken in a moving car (so please excuse the blur as I am no photographer!) ....

I love Tassie I have been there 3 times the last time we traveled around on a motorbike and my hubby proposed to me at Cradle Mountain ;)
8-) thats lovely Stacey!
What a lovely post..what a cool bike, and what a lovely state we live in...have you ever seen Tassie so green?!
Luisa, I drove to Launceston today from Devonport, and the countryside looks so lush and green, with water everywhere. It's wonderful. That motorbike looks like fun.
Yes, it was the greenest I have ever seen it. Its nice to see the farmers getting rain (although probably to the extreme and more than they need in the one time!)
How nice that you were feeling well enough to go out for a drive. Thanks for sharing your tour with us.
Stay Cozy, Carrie
What a lovely thing to do. ummm yummy baking.
That cooking looks scrummy! You did cook up a storm! I.m also a Tassie girl..things are looking pretty lush at the moment! Lisa
Thank you for all the lovely comments ... I love baking when i have time and love to see the smiles on children that love to eat my biscuits (just ask L at DanceInMyGarden! Little B and Little D love my anzacs!).. although I think poor little B just likes to eat while mummy and susan chat way too much over the fence! lol
